MEET STEVEN BORELLA

Libertarian Candidate for Clark County Recorder

Steven Borella is running for Clark County Recorder to restore professionalism, transparency, and accountability to an office that should quietly and efficiently serve the public.

He believes the government has a simple
responsibility: protect your rights, safeguard your
privacy, and do its job competently. The Recorder’s
Office is not a political stepping stone — it’s a
public trust. Steven is committed to modernizing
records, strengthening privacy protections,
and ensuring Clark County residents receive
the efficient service they deserve.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not the
government’s records.

It’s the people’s records.

Your priorities are my priorities:

You want competent government, not party politics.
I share that priority. You don’t have to be Republican or Democrat to want competence — you just have to care. I’m focused on putting competence over politics in the Recorder’s Office.

You want your privacy and property rights protected.
That is my priority as well. Property records must be accurate, secure, and protected from fraud, so your ownership and personal information remain safe.

You want a Recorder’s Office that works in real life.
I agree. From property records to marriage licenses and public documents, these services impact your daily life and must be handled with care, accuracy, and accountability.

You want transparency and public access you can trust.
That’s my commitment. Public records should be easy to access, clearly documented, and responsibly managed — without sacrificing security.
